It Wouldn’t be Thanksgiving on Mulberry Without You

Join us to celebrate the most delicious food holiday of the year! Thanksgiving on Mulberry runs November 21st through 27th and will be full of sales, vendor samplings, and holiday fun. Here are just a few highlights:

Ferndale Market Turkeys

From Cannon Falls, Minnesota

Fresh, local, and natural, these turkeys are raised on a third generation family farm. They never receive antibiotics or growth hormones and are naturally processed. This will be the best turkey you have ever eaten! Pick up a turkey at the store (we’ll have plenty on hand).

Willamette Valley Pie Company Pies

From Salem, Oregon

We’re happy to support this family farm that’s been growing berries locally in Salem, Oregon for three generations. All 8” pies are homemade from scratch using all-natural ingredients. They are pre-baked so all you have to do is pick one up, stick it into the oven to reheat, and enjoy.

Cranberry Bog

This one is fun for the kids! Scoop up your own fresh cranberries from our in-store cranberry bog. Cranberries are an excellent source of vitamin C and a good source of dietary fiber and vitamin E. Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies are calling…

Natural Balsam Firs

From Northern Minnesota

These local and sustainable Balsam Fir trees are fresh-cut from a family-owned tree farm in northern Minnesota. They are never sprayed or dyed and are harvested sustainably. We think Balsam is one of the best smells in the world, how about you?

Local Cheese

Stop by on Friday (11/22) between 4-6pm or Saturday (11/23) between 10am-2pm to chat with Jim Vonderharr and sample some local cheese. Bring all of your holiday cheese-plate questions and Jim will be happy to recommend some perfect pairings. We’ll be offering samples of:

  • The Stag from Deer Creek – Bold and nutty cheddar. A true Wisconsin original, The Stag is aged to allow for the development of an intense, bold flavor. It is rugged, driving strong toffee and butterscotch notes yet possessing the sweet finish of The Fawn which is its precursor. As it ages, The Stag develops a hint of crystalline crunch to further enliven your taste buds.
  • Jeff’s Select Gouda from The Caves of Faribault – Unlike typical Gouda, this American original is created in Wisconsin and aged to perfection in the Sandstone caves in Faribault, Minnesota. The result is a full bodied cheese with nuttiness tones with a hint of caramel.
  • St. Pete’s Select Blue Cheese from The Caves of Faribault – An artisan, blue veined cheese manufactured in Fairbault, Minnesota. This award winning cheese is aged for over 100 days in natural sandstone caves that were originally dug for ageing and storing beer. St. Pete’s Select exhibits a rich, creamy flavor with a pronounced piquant note due to the natural cave ageing.

Gorgonzola Cheese Balls

From the St. Peter Food Co-op & Deli

A holiday favorite made from scratch right here at the Co-op Deli. We sell hundreds of Gorgonzola cheese balls each year… will you be lucky enough to get your hands on one this season?!

Check out a complete listing of all of our scheduled vendor visits and RSVP on Facebook! We can’t wait to see you at Thanksgiving on Mulberry.
